Columbus Collision has closed its doors

Our last day of business was Friday, August 7, 2026. After more than four decades on the same corner, the shop is closed, and we wanted you to hear it from us.

A brief history

• Columbus Collision Center opened in 1979 under Gary and Kim Bowles.

• Gary worked in the trade alongside Mike Ferrenburg beginning in the early 1970s.

• When Gary and Kim retired in May 2015, they passed the shop to Mike’s son, Rodney, and his wife, Briana, rather than putting it on the market, an act of trust we worked to honor every day.

Thank you What kept the lights on was you: the people who pulled in after the worst day of their week and trusted us to put things back right, the customers who returned over the years, and those who referred friends, family, and coworkers. Nobody stays open for forty-seven years in a town this size without that support.

Signature Signs

Our sign business, Signature Signs, remains open and is handling all types of sign work. It will stay at its current location for the time being. You can reach us at (812) 343-8177.
